Bob Campion
Editor & Publisher

Bob joined Newsquest Specialist Media in November 2001, as news editor of monthly trade magazine Portfolio International. He became editor in 2003 and was launch editor of Engaged Investor in 2005. He oversaw the launch of The Fund Business in January 2007 and Pensions Insight in 2009. Bob was elected member nominated trustee of the Newsquest Media Group Pension Scheme in 2006 and is chair of Raising Standards of Trustee Education, an industry-wide campaign. Before joining Newsquest Specialist Media, Bob was News Editor of weekly local newspaper the Enfield Independent, and a freelance reporter for a national newspaper. He has a degree in Philosophy & Literature from Warwick University.

Maggie Williams
Executive Editor

Maggie was part of the launch team for Pensions Insight in 2009, and has worked for sister publication Engaged Investor as executive editor since January 2008 and. She has 12 years’ experience in journalism across both consumer and specialist business publications. Prior to moving into journalism, she worked as an IT Research Consultant for the NatWest Group where she won the General Manager’s award for outstanding achievement. Her first job in journalism was as usability editor for PC Magazine and she subsequently took over as features editor of the magazine, before working as a freelance journalist and consultant. She joined Newsquest Specialist Media in 2003 as editor of two specialist classical music titles, before moving back into business journalism with her current role.

Alastair O’Dell
Features Editor

Alastair joined the Newsquest Specialist Media in April and is responsible for overseeing email bulletins and website content, writing key features and news for the Pensions Insight and its sister title Engaged Investor. Previously Alastair was deputy editor of monthly trade magazines Carpet and Flooring Review and TileUK, part of CMPi. He has a BSC in Economics from University College London, and a Master of Commerce from the University of Sydney, Australia, and completed the NCTJ Postgraduate Fast-Track Journalism qualification.

Evelina Beckers
Production Designer

Evelina joined The Fund Business & Engaged Investor in July as Production Designer and was part of the launch team for Pensions Insight. In addition to designing up the magazine pages, she also creates many of the illustrations for both Engaged Investor and Pensions Insight. Previously she was Production Assistant/ Production Controller at Newsquest Specialist Media, where she co-ordinated the advertising production across the Orpheus Publications titles. Before 2005 she was Marketing Administrator and In-house Designer for The Fyfe Group.

Andrew Sheen
Assistant Editor

Andrew joined Pensions Insight in March 2010. Andrew writes key pieces for Pensions Insight, including features and analysis, and manages features for sister title Engaged Investor. Since starting in journalism in late 2007, Andrew has written for Global Pensions, Professional Pensions and Life & Pensions. He holds a degree in French and History from the University of Warwick.

Stuart Hall
Head of Sales

Stuart is Head of Sales for both Engaged Investor and The Fund Business, Joining Newsquest Specialist media in November 2005 as the Advertising Manager for Engaged Investor. In January 2007 Stuart was promoted to Head of Sales across both titles after successfully establishing the commercial credentials of Engaged Investor and Launching the Fund Business. In January 2008 Stuart was honoured with the Newsquest Specialist Media “outstanding Individual” award.

Having Joined MSM International in 2001 and working on titles such as Professional Pensions, Global Pensions and Launching the Interpens.com website (now Global Pensions website), Stuart has a good knowledge of the pensions and investment communities.

Stuart’s media career started in 1998 at Tec Publications when he launched The Landscaper Magazine which he ran for two years. Having been based in Worcestershire he then decided to move to London to begin his publishing career in financial media.

Lucy Thomes
Display Advertising Manager

Lucy started in media sales working on Engaged Investor as a directory services sales executive in September 2006 and has since this time become a valuable member of the team progressing from Account Manager in January 2008 to Deputy Advertising Manager in July 2008

John Windsor

John Windsor has over 4 years experience in B2B media sales working for leading publishing houses in food, drink and finance. John is now adapting what he has already learnt and achieved in his time with market leading titles into the competitive finance market at Newsquest Specialist Media.
