Robert Branagh replaces Kevin LeGrand as Pensions Management Institute president

The Pensions Management Institute (PMI) has appointed Robert Branagh as its new president. He succeeds previous president Kevin LeGrand, and took over the role on 2 August 2017.

Branagh has been a member of the PMI Council since 2013 and was co-opted onto the board in autumn 2014. He was appointed vice president in 2015, and has chaired the PMI board since summer 2015. In addition to his PMI experience, he holds a number of trustee and non-executive positions in financial services.

Commenting on his appointment, Branagh said: “With the challenges facing the pensions industry growing by the day, the role of the PMI in supporting, informing and equipping trustees and pension professionals to carry out their roles has never been more important.”
