JLT Employee Benefits has made three new hires in a bid to expand its flexible benefits division. The expansion is designed to accommodate greater complexity and clients which are taking different approaches to implementing the pension freedoms.

The expanded team will develop JLT Employee Benefits’ flexible benefits offering, which is supported by BenPal, the company’s online benefit and pension management system.

Andrew Drake joins JLT EB from Thomsons Online Benefits, where he was a senior scheme design consultant, specialising in designing, consulting and implementing benefit schemes.

Nick Patel joins from Capita Employee Benefits, where he was a senior consultant in flexible benefits, working across defined benefit and defined contribution schemes.

Ashley Finn joins from employee benefits firm Edenred, where he consulted on benefits for public and private sector clients.
