In this year’s top 50 people in pensions, Pensions Insight identifies four rising stars in the industry

Every year, in January, the Pensions Insight team sits down to analyse the past twelve months and find out who have been the big movers and shakers in the pensions industry.

This year, we decided to go one step further and look beyond the established big hitters to see who the some of the rising stars were in 2014.

These are the four under-35s who may not be as well-known as their counterparts but who are making waves nonetheless.

Rising stars

Nick Chadha, senior actuarial analyst, Buck Consultants

“He’s one of the best people I work with in the industry - a safe pair of hands, confident and good with clients,” said Steve Delo, chief executive of PAN Trustees, and one of this year’s top 50 people in pensions.

Alice Cheung, investment consultant, Redington.

Since falling down the pensions rabbit hole, Alice has risen quickly up Redington’s ranks. we enjoy reading her imaginative blogs.

Kim Nash, client director, PTL

Nash is recognised as a rising star at PTL and includes DC mastertrusts in her roster.

Ferdinand Lovett, senior associate, Sackers.

Ferdy holds his own among grandee lawyers on Engaged Investor’s conference panels, and is a favourite for his approachable, no-nonsense style.

If you know of some other rising stars in the industry, why not let one of the Pensions Insight editorial team know, so we can include them next year.
